If you're on this page, you've probably got a maintenance issue.

We can’t guarantee that things won’t go wrong in your house, it’s a fact of life that things break or stop working. What we can promise is that we will deal with any problems as effectively and quickly as possible; this doesn't always mean that we will be able to fix things straight away however; imagine if you owned your own house, it may take a couple of days to book an engineer to come out (we can often do this quicker than you would yourself as we have a large team of contractors).  Sometimes a part will need to be ordered which can take up to a week. So bear with us but rest assured we’ll work hard for you to ensure that it doesn't take longer than necessary to get you up and running again.

Our maintenance team know that Student Shac like to respond promptly and all emergencies such as loss of heating will be dealt with urgently so please do not worry if you have a problem it will be resolved as soon as possible. 

When dealing with maintenance in your house you should treat it like it were your own home; you should be able to deal with some basic things like light bulbs etc.  If the lightbulbs are difficult to reach then please let us know and we will get them replaced. We have put some guides below on basic maintenance to avoid problems and keep everything in your home running smoothly.

Each house has a folder with instructions on how to use the boiler, washing machine etc.  Please look at the folder, especially on how to use the timer on the boiler.  Please ask if you need any help or advice.  

We send regular emails about house maintenance this can save a lot of time and money by taking avoiding action. 

Existing tenants please send an email to let@studentshac.co.uk with a photo if possible.  If urgent please put URGENT in the subject bar of the email.  More than one person checks emails on a regular basis
